Help us to support an important local charity
Every year a local charity benefits from the Pelican Waters Christmas Carols event.
A gold coin donation is requested on arrival, collection tins will also be circulating. This year all of the money collected in the tins will be given direct to the Cindy Mackenzie Breast Cancer Foundation.

About the Cindy Mackenzie Breast Cancer Foundation:
Cindy passed away in April 2006 at the age of 39 after an 8 month battle with breast cancer.
Cindy’s wish was to set up a foundation which could provide support to Sunshine Coat families who were battling this disease. Practical, financial or emotional support is available to make life more comfortable.
Cindy Mackenzie had an idea that no breast cancer patient living on The Sunshine Coast, or their family should unnecessarily suffer spiritually, emotionally or financially throughout the period of their illness.
After Cindy passed away, her husband John and a group of dedicated friends followed her wishes founding the Cindy Mackenzie Breast Cancer Foundation.
